The entire digital operation for H-D of NYC was being handled by an in-house team that managed all channels including social, email and display. H-D of NYC understood the importance of its digital strategy but respected the costs, latency and limitations of relying on manpower alone to execute. In order to increase online merchandise sales, calls to sales reps and online appraisal trade-in forms filled out, H-D of NYC turned to Adgorithms to adopt a faster and smarter technology-based approach to target and optimize all channels simultaneously.

Process

As part of their ongoing utilization of Adgorithms’ SaaS, Albert™, H-D of NYC enlisted the digital marketing company to implement a burst campaign in order to push their remaining 2015 inventory before the riding season was complete. “48 Bikes in 48 Hours” was set up effortlessly and immediately across search, display, social and email, and targeted users and channel attributes most likely to convert for the brand across channels. Tailored messages for the promotion were delivered automatically in order to attract existing and new customers within the defined and limited time period.

Results

Albert built, executed and optimized the “48 Bikes in 48 Hours” promotional campaign in record time hitting all the brand’s KPIs. The advertiser saw an increase of 9X inbound call activity during the six-day campaign as a result of progressively targeted advertisements. Customers actively visited the showroom to complete purchases of merchandise and bikes, resulting in a revenue increase of 25 percent. In addition to an increase in engaged users across KPIs, all the information gathered from the burst campaign was automatically applied to Albert’s ongoing efforts to increase overall performance across channels.
