Be the leader and teacher for a growing team of Account Managers

Responsibilities:

As an Account Director, you will be the positive leader and teacher who actively manages and coaches a growing team of Account Managers -- help them in developing campaign strategy, client relationship management, and project management skills. The Account Director:

  • Understands & stays up to date on client business objectives, planning cycles, products/services, media & marketing activity, category dynamics & competitor activity
  • Participates in and/or lead key client meetings -- knows when to step in and lead vs lean back and give others an opportunity
  • Understands media and Albert well enough to answer many questions, but also knows the Albert network and pulls in the right experts at the right moment
  • Expands our contacts within the client’s marketing organization and builds a network of advocates for the Albert relationship
  • Oversees training and on-boarding of new Account Management hires
  • Continuously asses the health of client relationships across client portfolio and collaborates with SVP Strategic Client Services on workload prioritization; knows when to escalate internally and externally
  • Collaborates with SVP Strategic Client Services and Sr. Director Strategy on standardizing the process for monthly & quarterly reporting
Requirements:
  • Foundational knowledge of digital advertising is required (social, search, programmatic, tracking & attribution); deep knowledge of digital platforms preferred
